Staying physically and mentally fit and being connected are essential for our cognitive fitness.
We, at Support Elders, strongly believe that it is never too late to follow your long-forgotten dreams or even try out different hobbies and discover new passions. Besides the immense joy you get from pursuing such passions and activities, it also helps stem cognitive decline and even dementia, which may come with ageing.
Socialising enhances the feeling of wellbeing and happiness and in many cases also reduces depression that often comes from loneliness.
Socialising and interacting with others help elders stay mentally and emotionally fit, as they need to respond and engage.
This is what we offer:
1. Engagement Activities
- Coffee Mornings across premier city cafes
- Movie and theatre outings
- Cultural Programmes
- Short trips and picnics
- Theme-based discussion sessions
